Christchurch Harborough

CHRISTCHURCH HARBOROUGH: WHO ARE WE? Christchurch was founded in 2011 by a group of Christians who wanted to establish a new church in the town. We have grown to be a congregation of around 100 adults and children. We are an Independent, bible-believing church affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. FIEC has more than 650 churches across the UK and its head office is based in Market Harborough. We are also registered with the Charity Commission. Because we are a (relatively!) new church, we don’t have a building to call our own, so we rent space to meet for our Sunday services. WHAT DO WE BELIEVE? Although we have only been meeting as a church since 2011, we believe the same things Christians have believed for the 2000-year history of the Christian faith. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came into the world to save us from our sin. We believe that he died in our place on the cross and was raised to life three days later. We also believe that God speaks to us through the Bible. When we gather together for worship we hear the Bible read and preached to us. That helps us to grow in our relationship with God by the power of the Holy Spirit. So, we believe and teach the historic truths of Christianity as Christians have done through the centuries. In short, we are delighted to continue believing what Jesus taught us, and we certainly aren’t presenting anything new! Find out more about what we believe here. WHEN DO WE MEET? We meet at 10:30am on a Sunday morning for worship. Our service is normally over by 12:00 noon. Stay for refreshments if you can. WHERE DO WE MEET? We Ridgeway School in the north of the town. It’s nice and easy to find and there is plenty of free parking. The map on our home page shows you where it is, or you can use the school postcode to locate us. It’s LE16 7HQ. WHY DO WE MEET? We believe that God is worthy of our praise, so when we gather together we sing to do just that. We also meet to encourage each other as Christians, sharing our joys and struggles, and helping each other to grow in our relationship with God. HOW DOES THE SERVICE LOOK? We normally start with some songs of worship, singing praise to God with truths about what he has done for us through his Son, Jesus. The words are all on a big screen so you can either sing along or listen to others. We have prayers led from the front and we hear the Bible read and a sermon preached based on what we have read together. Then there is a bit more singing before we have refreshments together after the formal part of our service. We want everyone to feel welcome and we will never ask you to pray or say anything publicly. And we certainly won’t ask you for money! There are activities for schoolchildren split into different age groups, from our creche through to teenagers. We’d love to see you – don’t forget, the service starts at 10:30am. That’s us.

Sample church description

All Saints Littletown is a warm, friendly church made up of all ages and nationalities. We are ordinary people who have discovered the difference it makes to have a relationship with God through his Son, Jesus.

We meet twice on Sundays at 11am and 7pm for about an hour to worship God and learn from his Word, the Bible. Refreshments follow the morning service.

During the week, we run a variety of activities, including a toddler group, children’s groups, and a coffee morning for seniors.  We also offer regular sessions for those exploring the Christian faith—providing space to learn about Jesus and ask questions.

Whether you’re exploring, seeking community, or simply curious—you’re warmly welcome here!

Churches that sign up to join the mission will enjoy unlimited downloads of all the training videos.

There will also be a limited access subscription for churches and individuals that want access to the videos without full access to all the LIFE ‘26 mission resources.
